Clovis Unified School District

The Clovis Unified School District operates the Clovis Regional Learning Center in Tuolumne County. The site is surrounded by National Forest and is an ideal camp for teaching children about natural science as well as living in the outdoors and interacting with others.
The camp was old and in need of renovation.
The District also planned to expand their facilities, so ASAi worked with the District on the designed expansion and with the various agencies in Tuolumne County to obtain the necessary permits for the work. Although this site is not owned by the District, and therefore does not require DSA approval, ASAi designed all structures to meet DSA requirements as well as ADA requirements. The project includes the modernization of five dormitories, the upgrade of the kitchen and dining hall and the upgrade of the sanitary and fire alarm systems. It was completed at the end of 2008.
